More About Me

I am a therapist based in Fairfax, VA and currently work in a private practice. My style is to bring warmth, playfulness, and deep attunement in my work with children, adults, and families. After earning my master’s degree from the University of Maryland School of Social Work, I began my career as a School-Based Mental Health Therapist, supporting children and families in Washington, DC public schools.

I wholeheartedly believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship to foster healing and growth. I approach therapy holistically, incorporating trauma-informed care, parts work, polyvagal theory, and attachment-focused parent integration. In my work with kids, I blend EMDR with expressive modalities, play, and somatic work to help young clients process difficult experiences in a way that feels safe and engaging. With adults, I utilize EMDR to help them connect with and heal their younger parts, honoring the ways the past continues to show up in the present.

As an EMDRIA-approved Consultant in Training (CIT), I offer both group and individual consultation. I am passionate about supporting clinicians in developing confidence and competence in EMDR, particularly in working with children. I also love consulting with clinicians who are new to the field or working with trauma cases, even if they don’t use EMDR. Whether you’re just starting out or navigating complex cases, I hope to provide support, guidance, and a safe space for learning and growth. While trauma work can be heavy, I believe that therapy—both for clients and clinicians—should also be full of playfulness, creativity, and connection.
